Yes. HealthReach currently offers two types of COVID testing. 1)HealthReach offers a Rapid Antigen test that provides results for our patients in as little as 20 minutes. 2)For patients not seeking the Rapid Antigen test, HealthReach can collect a nasopharyngeal swab and conduct a Molecular test through the Wyoming State Laboratory. This test detects genetic material of the virus using a lab technique called polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Results typically take 1-2 days upon delivery to the Wyoming State Laboratory.
Does everyone get a Rapid Test?
No. HealthReach simply offers the Rapid Antigen test to all our patients who are looking for rapid COVID results. All patients experiencing COVID symptoms have the opportunity to decline rapid testing and request a State Laboratory Molecular test.
How is the Covid-19 Test administered?
HealthReach believes in accurate results. In order to obtain the most accurate sample a Nasopharyngeal (the part of the throat behind the nose) swab is collected on all patients. A trained HealthReach nurse or provider will collect the patient sample.
How long do results take to get back?
Below are the resulting time frames for the two COVID testing options HealthReach offers: Rapid Antigen testing results can be obtained in as little as 20 minutes. All negative Rapid Antigen testing is sent to the Wyoming State Laboratory for confirmation. Confirmation can take 1-2 days from the delivery of the sample to the Wyoming State Laboratory.
For all molecular testing, HealthReach utilizes the Wyoming State Laboratory to conduct its testing. Results for molecular testing are resulted out within 1-2 days from delivery to the Wyoming State Laboratory.

Can I be tested without seeing a doctor?
For patients who present without symptoms of COVID, HealthReach can offer our Rapid Antigen test without the need to see one of our providers. Keep in mind that a HealthReach team member may suggest you see a provider based on initial screening questions.
What is the cost of a COVID test?
The Rapid Antigen test can be submitted to most insurances with complete or partial payment by the payer. To confirm your payers ability to reimburse for COVID testing please reach out to your insurance company for confirmation.
For all patients without health coverage, the Rapid Antigen test can be paid for out of pocket starting at $164.24. Additional fees may be applied based on the level of care needed. Confirm with our receptionist prior to finalizing payment.

Is the test preformed curbside/drive through or in the clinic?
HealthReach believes in the value of face to face care. All COVID related care is seen in our clinic at this point and time. HealthReach does offer in person and telemedicine visits in addition to all COVID care.

Can my child get a COVID test? What is the youngest age a COVID test would be done on?
In most situations, yes your child can receive COVID testing. For child under the age of 3 please contact the clinic prior to being seen to confirm the clinics ability to test your child. It is our priority to provide all patients with the appropriate level of care.
If I have a negative Rapid Test, but have not received the state results back. What is it advised I do?
Under the current recommendation from the Wyoming Department of Health it is advised that patients who receive Rapid Antigen testing isolate until their confirmation results are received from the Wyoming State Laboratory. HealthReach conducts confirmation testing on all negative Rapid Antigen results. Results are typically received 1-2 days from delivery of the sample to the Wyoming State Laboratory.
